Major global changes
Climate change is one of the most important issues today. Fifty years ago it wasn’t even a concern and it’s gotten worse. All climates are disturbed and it’s only getting worse. In France we lost the notion of winter: in 20 years the snow disappeared in most of the country. The temperatures are getting hotter and the summers are getting hotter too.
It is said in common language that there are no more seasons. This is also the case in other parts of the world with the melting of the pack ice or the extension of monsoons for example. Such phenomena are irregular and today almost all climate-skeptics have disappeared.

Measurement brakes
Since the beginning of the century we have learned to know that the impact is real and much bigger than we thought before. Everyone agrees that we have to act quickly, but the reality is that things are not changing very much. Petrol cars still represent the majority of cars in use. Moreover, the big oil companies know that they will have a huge shortfall and are therefore very passive.
The energy transition is slowed by the problem of money. Clean facilities such as wind turbines are expensive and difficult to finance. So these structures are not profitable for shareholders today.
My concerns
Climate change is one of my biggest concerns. These upheavals will impact our future and therefore our lifestyle. The longer we wait, the more drastic measures we will have to take to hope to slow down climate change.
Our society must no longer care about the economic aspect and concentrate all its efforts on ecology. Like this real measures will be applied and the world will evolve. Otherwise, it will be destroyed.
